saturday 1-17

So I was hoping to get so many things done this weekend and guess what another weekend of getting nothing done. I feel I may puke at any moment and Leigh is in a fabulous mood by the way. Irritability is running high today.
Jill's turning 4 on wednesday and we are having her party at chuck e cheese and I haven't finished shopping for her or have anything to wrap it in. I hate feeling like crap.
Leigh I think is doing well and not having any pain or issues with his rear.
We have been playing guitar hero and I tried drums last night and let me tell you it is HARD.
As soon as I figure out how to add pics and feel a little better you will get a good laugh.
I'm off to take a shower and hope this ailment passes.

WeDnEsDaY 1-14

Today was we had a slow start. I swear I hit snooze at least 10 times and I just wasn't going to budge. Nothing like being completely exhausted for 3 days and then crashing.
Leigh got out the hospital Tuesday afternoon and has never been happier to be home.
I have been reading a series by Charlaine Harris - The Sookie Stackhouse series and I just finished book seven. I love this series and I guess I am going to start reading another she has going but at a slower rate. I wish I had the imagination of these authors it is amazing.
I had a good day at work everything went smoothly. I get to play catch up the next two days on slides which is always a hit or miss task.
Jillian has been trying to run the household and keeps explaining she is bigger than Charlie and she should be able to do what the adults do. She is going to be 4 on the 21st and you'd think she was turning 18.
American Idol just finished and I guess I am ready to crash and thanks to Julie I am still laughing about an"imaginary muffin"!

Laugh, Live and Love.

A long day

So today I think has to be one of the longest days I have had in a while. I was up at 6 am to get Anna ready for school and in her chair for the bus well everything was going smoothly until the 300lb frickin' thing wouldn't move, yes I made sure it was turned on and yes I made you tilted it completely forward to reset and yes the brakes were unlocked. I rocked the seat mechanism up and down and side to side and something made it go and that's all that matters. I'm not quite sure what happened next my dad showed up he was throwing Anna's coat on her because the bus has pulled ready for her to load and now her nurse Celia and involved with our unorganized drama and well guess what??? Cars blocking the driveway so i ran out started the taurus and moved it so she could get on the bus. Anna made it to school in one piece and she had a fabulous day.
As most of you know Leigh had surgery last night for a perirectal abscess that was causing sepsis and of course he will not hear the end of butt jokes for a very long time.
Work was fun = toilets overflowed and we had the stench of the last 50 dumps taken in that place. I think we need to make a sign # 1 only.
I'm sure I have more but I can barely keep my eyes open - good night

Thanks.

I have been inspired by many people but I must say Corrine you are awesome! I am so sad we didn't get to catch up and get together before you left. So I was reading your blog catching up and I have been inspired by this wonderful idea to keep everyone updated on what happens daily. I have to say Cinderella ROCKS! I laughed so hard thank you Eric.
So I have added this to one of my resolutions along with getting organized and trying to lose some frickin' weight.
I will do my best and Corrine just know we miss you and you are AWESOME!
